Processing tips
To achieve perfect machining results, in addition to selecting the right tool, operation is also crucial:
1. High Speed, Fast Feed: Using a higher spindle speed and faster feed rate creates a "chipping" rather than "grinding" cutting effect, which helps achieve a smooth surface and prevents plastic melting.
2. Climb Milling Priority: During down milling, the tool edge cuts from the outside of the material, thinning the chips from thick to thin, which helps achieve a better top surface finish and reduces the risk of delamination.
3. Secure Clamping: Ensure the sheet is securely fixed to reduce vibration, which can cause edge burrs and tool damage.
4. Blowing or Vacuuming: Use an air gun or the machine's built-in vacuum to remove chips promptly during machining to prevent them from scratching the sheet surface.
